Teddy Bridgewater played college football for Louisville and was selected 32nd overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2014 NFL Draft. He helped lead the team to become NFC North division champions.
Bridgewater suffered a torn ACL and a dislocated knee in the 2016 off-season and was only able to play in one game over the next two years. Bridgewater was a free agent in 2017 and went on to play for the New York Jets, the New Orleans Saints, the Carolina Panthers, and the Denver Broncos. He joined the Miami Dolphins in 2022 as the backup quarterback.
