Stefon played for the University of Maryland in College Park from 2012–2015 where he was named Second-Team All-Big Ten in 2014. Diggs decided to enter the 2015 NFL Draft and forgo his senior season. Diggs was the 146th overall draft pick and signed a four-year, $2.5 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings. He signed a new contract in 2018 that was a five-year, $72 million deal. He was traded to the Bills in 2020 and quickly became a top receiver under the direction of quarterback Josh Allen.
