Russel Westbrook played college basketball at UCLA for two years before deciding to enter the 2008 NBA Draft. He was drafted fourth overall by the Seattle SuperSonics, which relocated to Oklahoma City and become the Thunder just six days later. He had a great first year in the league and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2009.
In 2017, Westbrook became one of two players in NBA history to average a triple-double for a season. He also became the first player to lead the league in points and assists in multiple seasons, and he currently holds the record for the most triple-doubles in NBA history.
