Patrick Peterson was born on July 11, 1990, in Pompano Beach, Florida. He attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played college football and was a standout cornerback. He was widely regarded as one of the best college football players of his time and was a consensus All-American in 2010. Peterson was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the fifth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Peterson played for the Cardinals for ten seasons from 2011 to 2020, where he established himself as one of the premier cornerbacks in the league. He was named to eight Pro Bowls, three First-Team All-Pro selections, and was a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
