Nick Bosa played college football at Ohio State from 2016-2018 where he was a First-team All-American in 2017. He had to withdraw from play in 2018 after undergoing core muscle surgery and decided to enter the 2019 NFL Draft shortly after. He was projected to be the first overall draft pick and ended up being selected second overall by the San Francisco 49ers. In his first year he was awarded the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award, and helped his team make it to the Super Bowl where they were defeated by the Chiefs. He tore his ACL in 2020 and finished his 2021 season with 15.5 sacks. He led the league in sacks in the 2022 regular season with 18.5 sacks for 138 yards.
