Mitch Trubisky played college football for North Carolina and entered the 2017 NFL Draft where he was selected second overall by the Chicago Bears. He saw early success and recorded the third-highest passer rating in the NFL in his rookie season.
Trubisky left the Bears via free agency in 2021 and signed with the Buffalo Bills as a backup to Josh Allen for one season. He joined the Steelers as a free agent in 2022 but was quickly benched in favor of Kenny Pickett.
