Evans attended Texas A&M for college football from 2011–2013 and earned first-team All-American. He was drafted seventh overall in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mike Evans’s contract was a four-year, $14.6 million rookie deal. After an impressive few seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards, Evans signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract extension with the Buccaneers in 2018. In 2020, he broke Randy Moss’s record for seven consecutive seasons with 1,000 receiving yards and went on to have eight total seasons.
