Michael Thomas was born on March 3, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Ohio State University, where he played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2012 to 2015. He was selected by the Saints in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, and quickly established himself as one of the top receivers in the league.
In his rookie season, Thomas set a new Saints rookie record for receptions, with 92 catches for 1,137 yards and 9 touchdowns. He has since been named to the Pro Bowl five times and has been selected as a First-team All-Pro three times.
Off the field, Thomas is known for his philanthropic work, including his support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana and his creation of the Michael Thomas Dreambuilder’s Foundation, which provides resources and opportunities to underprivileged youth.
