Micah Parsons is an outside linebacker and defensive end in the NFL and currently plays for the Dallas Cowboys. He was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year after his impressive performance in the 2021 season and was also voted into the Pro Bowl and named First-Team All-Pro. Parsons played college football for Penn State and was their first freshman to lead the team in tackles. In his sophomore season, Parsons was named the Butkus-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year and All-American. He was also named the 2019 Cotton Bowl Classic defensive MVP. Micah decided to opt out of playing in the 2020 football season due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately decided to enter the 2021 NFL Draft. He was selected 12th overall by the Dallas Cowboys and received a four-year, $17 million rookie contract. He had 12 sacks in his first 13 career games in the NFL, the fourth-most by any rookie.
