Kenny Pickett played college football for the University of Pittsburgh where he was a Heisman Trophy finalist. He entered the 2022 NFL Draft and was selected 20th overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In September of 2022, he was named the backup quarterback behind Mitch Trubisky, but was quickly moved to the starter. He had a good rookie season and became the first rookie quarterback in NFL history to throw a game-winning touchdown in the final minute of the fourth quarter in two straight games.
