Joe Buck is the son of Jack Buck, another broadcaster. He began his broadcasting career in 1989 while attending Indiana University Bloomington. He was hired by Fox in 1994 at the age of 25 and began to announce NFL games. In 1996, Buck was named Fox’s lead play-by-play voice for the MLB and was the youngest man to do a national broadcast for a World Series.
