Dwayne Haskins was a quarterback who played in the NFL for three seasons. He played college football at Ohio State where he was awarded the Sammy Baugh Trophy, the Kellen Moore Award, and the Chicago Tribune Silver Football. He was selected 15th overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2019 NFL Draft.
In April of 2022, Haskins was struck and killed by a dump truck in Florida after attempting to cross Interstate 595 on foot. It was later revealed that he had a blood alcohol level of .24 and also tested positive for ketamine and norketamine.
