Dalvin Cook played college football for Florida State from 2014-2016, where he finished his career as the school’s all-time leading rusher. He was drafted 41st overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft. He tore his ACL at the beginning of his rookie season and returned to play in the 2018 season. He broke 1,000 rushing yards in the 2019 season and also had 53 receptions for 519 receiving yards. He signed a five-year, $63 million contract extension with the Vikings in 2020, and he finished that year with a career-high 1,557 rushing yards and 361 receiving yards.
Cook has been involved with animal maltreatment of pitbull puppies and was also accused of punching a woman outside of a Tallahassee bar. In 2021, he was accused of assault, battery, and false imprisonment of his former girlfriend.
