Chad Johnson played college football for Santa Monica College and Oregon State University before being selected as the 36th overall draft pick in the 2001 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
In his time in the NFL, Johnson played for the Bengals, Patriots, and Dolphins. Johnson led the NFL in receiving yards in 2006. He made an appearance in Super Bowl XLVI where the Patriots were defeated by the Giants. Johnson was one of the NFL’s most productive wide receivers of the 2000s and holds nearly every Bengals receiving record.
Chad Johnson has 9 children, one of whom is a wide receiver at Arizona State University. He was arrested for domestic battery in 2012 after allegedly head-butting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada.
