Carmelo Anthony is a small forward in the NBA who last played for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is a ten-time NBA All-Star and was the NBA scoring champion in 2013. Carmelo Anthony played college basketball for Syracuse University, where he helped the team win a national championship in 2003. He was drafted third overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. While playing for the Nuggets, he led the team to the playoffs every year from 2004-2010.
In 2011, he was traded to the New York Knicks, and in 2014, he scored a career-high 62 points. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets where he played for a short while before spending two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He then joined the Los Angeles Lakers in 2021.
Carmelo and his long-time wife LaLa Vazquez filed for divorce in 2021.
