Brian Flores is currently the senior defensive assistant and linebacker coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is well known for being an assistant coach for the New England Patriots from 2008–2018. Flores played college football at Boston College from 1999–2002 and in 2004 joined the Patriots as a scouting assistant. He was promoted to Belichick’s coaching staff in 2008, serving as a special teams assistant coach. He had many coaching position changes throughout his stint with the Patriots and won the Super Bowl four times with the franchise. As the head coach of Miami, Flores gave the franchise their first consecutive winning seasons since 2003. He was allegedly fired due to poor people skills, issues with collaboration, and player dissatisfaction.
