Booger McFarland played college football at Louisiana State University from 1995-1998. He was drafted 15th overall in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In eight seasons with the team, he totaled 305 tackles and 20 sacks and helped them win a Super Bowl in 2002. He was traded to the Colts in 2006 where he helped the team win Super Bowl XLI against the Chicago Bears.
He suffered a career-ending knee injury the following year in training camp and decided to become a football analyst for various programs. He was a sideline reporter and analyst for Monday Night Football in 2018 and 2019 and in 2020 was a pregame analyst on Monday Night Countdown.
