The Manning dynasty lives on with Arch Manning, the nephew of Peyton and Eli manning. He is currently a high school quarterback in New Orleans and has verbally committed to playing for the Texas Longhorns. At 6’4″ and 215 pounds, Arch is already a force on the field. Stay up to date on all of the latest Arch Manning news here.
Arch Manning’s dad is Cooper Manning, brother of Eli and Peyton. Arch started as the varsity quarterback his freshman year and threw for 2,407 yards and 34 touchdowns. He declined premature college scholarship offers and visited quite a few schools before verbally committing to the Longhorns. As one of the top high school football prospects in the nation, he continues to break high school records left and right. He even surpassed two career high school records held by his uncles: Eli Manning’s passing yards record and Peyton Manning’s passing touchdown record. His uncles aren’t shy about their humorous competition with their 17-year-old nephew and frequently joke about whether they were better than him at his age. It will be interesting to see how Arch Manning fits into the Texas Longhorns roster, considering that he is coming in as a rookie behind the top NFL quarterback recruit for the 2021 class, Quinn Ewers.
