Andrew Luck was born on September 12, 1989, in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended Stanford University, where he played college football and was named the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2010 and 2011. He was selected first overall by the Colts in the 2012 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as one of the league’s premier quarterbacks.
