Alvin Kamara played college football at the University of Alabama for only a short time, then transferred to Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. He had an impressive freshman season at Hutchinson and was offered by the University of Tennessee for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. He entered the 2017 NFL Draft and was the 67th overall pick by the New Orleans Saints. After a very impressive rookie season, Kamara was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was named to the Pro Bowl and the All-Rookie Team. In 2018, he helped bring the Saints to the NFC Championship, where they ultimately lost to the Los Angeles Rams. Alvin Kamara’s contract in 2020 was a five-year extension worth $75 million.
