Green was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and he quickly established himself as one of the league’s top receivers. He played for the Bengals for ten seasons, from 2011 to 2020, and during that time he was named to the Pro Bowl seven times. He also set several franchise records for the Bengals, including most receiving yards in a season and most 100-yard receiving games.
In March 2021, Green signed a one-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals. He then re-signed with the Arizona Cardinals for the 2022 season and played in 15 games, finishing with 24 receptions, 236 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. In his final career game, he recorded three catches for 91 yards and a touchdown.
