France forward Kylian Mbappe’s Euro 2024 campaign hasn’t gotten off to the best start as he ended his first game with a bloodied face.
Mbappe, who recently left French side Paris Saint-Germain to sign for Spanish giants Real Madrid, is representing his country at said tournament. But he might have to continue in a mask as he is believed to have broken his nose.
The World Cup winner suffered the injury while fighting Austria defender Kevin Danso for an aerial ball nearing the end of the game. The contact left him with a bloody face.

Kylian Mbappe Draws The Wrath Of France Icon After Claiming Euros Is Harder Than The World Cup
Kylian Mbappe recently caused a stir after making a controversial comment about the current competition. Now one of the most feared attackers in world football, the former PSG star said the Euros is tougher tournament the World Cup.
Soccer stars, including former PSG teammate Lionel Messi, took exception to the statement. And Mbappe has since been admonished by former France defender Patrice Evra, who suggested he should have kept his opinion to himself as he hasn’t played in every international competition.
“If you haven’t played in a competition, don’t talk about it,” Evra said on Football Extra (H/T Sportskeeda). “Mbappe should have shut his mouth. If you have an opinion keep it to yourself. This is a lack of experience from him.”
Evra, a football icon himself, made 81 appearances for France. He also represented Manchester United, winning multiple Premier League titles and the Champions League.
