USWNT striker Alex Morgan wanted the smoke with Colombia during their clash in the Gold Cup quarterfinals on Sunday night.
Alex, whose poor form saw her left off the team before an injury forced a recall, got into it with some of Colombia’s women during the second half of last night’s game.
The video below shows both Alex and teammate Trinity Rodman looking to get physical after things heated up after a corner kick.

Morgan didn’t get on the score sheet but put in a respectable performance in the 3-0 win.
“Being on the front foot, and making sure that our 9 and 10 was ready to defend, was a really important thing in the game,” interim head coach Twila Kilgore said after the game. “I thought Alex did a tremendous job, had a very veteran performance.”
The striker has lost some of her pace and while drawing criticism for questionable touches and wild misses. The latter haunted her on Sunday as she inexplicably missed from two yards out in the second half.
Morgan had only scored four times in 29 appearances since the international break last April, which is why she was left off the roster in the first place. Still, her contributions have been valuable.
