Hope Solo is in trouble yet again.
The longtime national-team goalkeeper and two-time Olympic gold medalist was arrested Thursday in North Carolina for driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest. To make matters worse, she had her two children with her
The 40-year-old retired goalkeeper was taken into custody in a Walmart parking lot. Officials told TMZ Solo was booked for impaired driving (DWI), resisting arrest, and misdemeanor child abuse.
Solo was charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault in 2014 after police said she assaulted two family members at a home in Kirkland. She was also accused of berating a police officer in 2014, and threatening to “kick his ass.”
Solo is married to ex-NFL player Jerramy Stevens.
