The United States Women’s soccer team took on Canada at the CONCACAF Championship Finals in Monterrey, Mexico earlier this week.
The Americans emerged with the 1-0 victory after Alex Morgan converted a penalty shot in the 78th minute, earning her the golden ball trophy as tournament MVP.
After the game, Morgan took to her Instagram to post a picture of her new hardware.
She channeled her inner Steph Curry by doing the “Night Night” celebration, made famous by the all-star guard last month when his Warriors put the Celtics to sleep in Game 6 of the NBA Championship Series.

With the win, the U.S. women’s soccer team officially clinched a spot in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, as well as a berth in the inaugural Women’s Gold Cup—which will also be held in 2024.
Morgan now has 118 goals in 196 career matches with the U.S. Women’s National team, along with three CONCACAF Women’s Championships, two Women’s World Cup titles, and an Olympic Gold Medal.
