A Turkish football match turned into complete chaos when a fan ran out on the field and had violence on his mind.
The TFF second division match between Goztepe and Altay quickly turned into a scary scene after a video showed a fan running onto the field with a corner flag and brutally assaulting Altay goalkeeper Ozan Evrim Ozenc. With a corner flag in hand, he ran up behind the goalkeeper and unleashed a series of aggressive blows to his back.
The fan would soon be tackled to the ground and removed. The 29-year-old goalkeeper was sent to the hospital.
Turkey’s football federation (TFF) said: “We condemn the incidents.”
In a statement, the TFF also condemned “the dastardly attack” on Ozenc.

“While wishing a speedy recovery to the injured football fans, we also wish a speedy recovery to Altay goalkeeper Ozan Evrim Ozenc, who was subjected to violence by the attacker who entered the pitch,” the statement added.
