There was a lot going on between Chattanooga FC and Michigan Stars in their matchup.
Early in the game, Michigan Stars goalkeeper Tatenda Mkuruva faked an egregious injury where he could be seen grabbing for his ankle and jumping around on the ground to get noticed by refs. That would come back to bite him in the butt later in the game.
Chattanooga FC star Markus Naglestad would make his presence when he hit the game-winning goal later in the game, and celebrated by throwing himself on the ground near the goalkeeper and mocking him for faking his injury.
He would later issue an apology on Twitter:
That is outstanding.
