Neymar’s soccer team, Al-Hilal, is getting roasted on social media having posted an odd graphic to wish the attacker a speedy recovery after he suffered a devastating knee injury for Brazil.
The former Barcelona and PSG star tore his ACL and meniscus during a World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay this week following an awkward step after an opposing player attempted a tackle.
Neymar immediately went down and looked to be in some agony on the ground. Somehow, his club’s social media admin thought it a good idea of a photo showing him screaming in pain as the feature image for their graphic wishing him well.

A large number of users would make the point that the photo was a very poor choice. You can see some of the reactions here:

Neymar, 32, moved to the Saudi club earlier this year as part of a mass European exodus that saw the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, and Karim Benzema move to the Middle East for incredible sums.
We wish the Brazilian a speedy recovery following what has to be a heartbreaking setback.
