David Beckham’s alleged mistress, Rebecca Loos, has responded to the “nasty” tag being attributed to her following the release of the former soccer star’s Netflix documentary.
Loos was rumored to have had an extra-marital affair with the Inter Miami owner while he was playing for Real Madrid in Spain, and his wife, Victoria Beckham, back in England.
Having been assigned to do PR for the former superstar, and working as his assistant, she claimed to have slept with him on four occasions during a four-month period in a story published by the now-defunct News of the World in 2004.
“The carefully orchestrated news story about David Beckham’s alleged marital infidelity has caused unabashed shudders of joy and amusement throughout the country,” Independent newspaper columnist Terence Blacker said back then.
Beckham and his wife addressed the alleged affair in the fourth episode of Beckham’s self-produced, recently-released Netflix docuseries, ‘BECKHAM’. While neither confirmed the rumors, David admitted that his marriage was on the rocks around that time while Victoria said it was probably“the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life.”
Loos has been hit with a lot of criticism following the series’ release, but she claims to be laughing them off.

“Thank you, am taking in the nasty comments with as much humour as I can,” she wrote in response to a comment on an Instagram post in which a fan sent her some encouragement.
According to The Daily Mail, Rebecca is still upset at Beckham for shying away from the rumors instead of handling the situation like a man.
“Rebecca thinks David should man up and publicly apologize for the pain he caused his wife instead of playing the victim,” one of her friends is quoted as having told the outlet.
“He has always described the affair claims as ‘ludicrous,’ but he has never confirmed or denied that one took place.”
