British-Iraqi architect, Dame Zaha Hadid, designed the stadium, but won’t be around to see it finished as she died suddenly of a heart attack in 2016.
Speaking to Time, Hadid said: “It’s really embarrassing that they come up with nonsense like this.
“What are they saying? Everything with a hole in it is a vagina? That’s ridiculous.”
The soccer stadium will have a capacity of roughly 40,000 seats. Once the World Cup is over, it will be scaled down to 20,000 seats.
