Landon Donovan had the internet in stitches after showing up to work with a bizarre haircut on Monday.
Donovan, one of the best soccer players in U.S. history, was analyzing France’s 1-0 win over Austria at Euro 2024 for FOX when he turned to the camera to expose a very odd shave.
The 42-year-old has been balding since his playing days, but this was some new form. Fans didn’t know what to make of the photo below when they saw it.
“I’m so confused about what’s going on with Landon Donovan’s hair like… did he have a small surgery back there or something,” one fan wondered.
“Did Landon Donovan literally run out of the barbers half way through a haircut because he was late for work?” asked another.

Landon Donovan’s Former Teammate Tells All
Landon Donovan’s former LA Galaxy teammate Mike Magee has since revealed the reason for the former’s wild hairstyle.
Magee posted screenshots of a text conversation with Donovan hours after his television appearance. Apparently, the former soccer star had a hair transplant a few weeks ago but was fed some bad information.
“LD check Twitter ASAP and prob fire your barber,” Magee texted him.
“Where were you seven hours ago? Had a hair transplant procedure two weeks ago and was told it wouldn’t show up on camera,” Donovan replied.
“Who told you that Rafa Marquez?!” Magee asked before getting the middle finger emoji.
Well, at least we know why Landon Donovan showed up to work like this, though we aren’t sure why he would believe it wouldn’t show up on TV.
