If you thought concession prices at professional sporting events couldn’t get any more ridiculous, then boy does SoFi Stadium have something for you!
SoFi Stadium, home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, is one of the 14 venues being used for the 2024 Copa America soccer tournament. The Copa America features the best nations from South America and North America and takes place in the same year as the Euro Cup.
Greg Beacham of the Associated Press is among the media members covering the 2024 Copa America. On X/Twitter, Beacham shared the ridiculous and outrageous prices that media members must pay for lunch.
The Copa Media Lunch offers fans three options: A hot dog, chicken tenders or a southwestern salad….all for $25. The hot dog and tenders come with potato wedges and a cookie, while the salad comes with dressing, chips and a cookie.

And to think that the lunch prices don’t even include beverages, on top of the $85 parking that Beacham just pointed out…
SoFi Stadium, which cost a whopping $5.5 billion, opened in 2020. The Rams and Chargers moved here together, but fans weren’t allowed inside the stadium during the debut year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The venue has also hosted Super Bowl 56, which the Rams fittingly won on their home field, and WWE’s WrestleMania 39 event.
SoFi Stadium Will Be Rocking Again In The Fall
The 2024 NFL season is now just over two months away. So in short time, SoFi Stadium will be up and running with Rams and Chargers home games.
Sean McVay’s Rams will host the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers in their season opener in Week 3. As for the Chargers, they’ll open their season at home against the AFC West foe Las Vegas Raiders.
