Philadelphia Union’s Alejandro Bedoya Scores Goal, Yells for Congress to End Gun Violence (VIDEO)

This is how you end gun violence.

Alejandro Bedoya, a winger/midfielder on Philadelphia Union of the MLS, scored a goal on Sunday night in Washington D.C. versus DC United and instead of celebrating right away, he picked up a microphone on the side of the field and yelled for Congress to do something to end gun violence now:

His plea comes after one of the most violent weekends in America that saw two mass shootings in less than 24 hours that claimed the lives of 29 innocent people in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio.
