Well, this backfired rather quickly.
Hours before United States Women’s National Team was set to hit the field and play Thailand, American Social Brickell ran a promotion offering free shots for every goal scored by the U.S. women’s national team.
During its opening match of the Women’s World Cup on Tuesday, USWNT set a new record for the biggest winning margin in Women’s World Cup history by scoring 13 goals.
There were likely a bunch of drunk people on Tuesday who couldn’t even walk by the time the game was over.
