While he may have simply been trying to do whatever it took to ensure the free-kick was missed, his actions went a little too far in a game that was played in packed stadium where children would’ve seen him.
One fan furiously explained: “Shame on that player Geisson Perea from Santa Fe lowering his uniform and showing the referee… Are we going with a sanction?”
