You can’t even comprehend how amazing it must feel to be a member of Argentina’s national soccer team. Not only did they just finish playing in what will undoubtedly go down as the greatest World Cup Finals ever, but they also came out on the winning end of it!
After Argentina’s shootout victory (following a 3-3 tie through regulation and extra time), it was time to hand out some awards. Among them was the Golden Glove Award, which is given to the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
The recipient of the award was none other than Argentine keeper Emiliano Martinez, and let’s just say he may have been a little too excited while accepting the trophy.
While you can certainly forgive Martinez for being a little overly enthusiastic after such a big win, you probably don’t want to be performing these types of acts in front of all those high-ranking Qatari officials.

Emiliano may want to hop on the plane and head home for Argentina ASAP, before someone decides to arrest him.
And while we’re still talking about it, I wonder who he was directing that gesture towards? Is it possible he spotted Miss Croatia Ivana Knoll in the stands?
Argentina Beat France In An All-Time Classic
After holding onto a 2-0 lead for most of the game, Argentina saw it all wiped away by a couple of late goals from France’s Kylian Mbappe. That forced extra time, where it looked like Lionel Messi had won it for Argentina when he scored in the 108th minute. But once again, Mbappe was there to spoil the party by scoring his third of the game (and his second from the penalty spot) in the 118th minute of action.
That forced penalty kicks, where Argentina was clinical, scoring on all four of their attempts to take the trophy. It’s their first World Cup title since 1986.
