An incredibly frightening scene is unfolding in Coppenhagen during the Euro 2021 match between Denmark and Finland as Denmark’s Christian Eriksen has collapsed on the field midway through the match.
Eriksen was seen stumbling while getting into position for a throw-in before collapsing to the ground. Medics rushed out to attend to the Denmark midfielder, who at one point appeaered to be receiving CPR for an extended period of time.
No word yet on his condition. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
