Major League Soccer is taking no chances.
On Thursday morning, the MLS decided to suspend its season indefinitely amid the mounting coronavirus health crisis.
We saw on Wednesday night that the NBA took drastic measures when they suspended their season when Utah jazz star Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus. His teammate, Donovan Mitchell has also tested positive for it as well.
As of right now, the NCAA will continue to hold its men’s and women’s basketball tournaments later this month, but wthout fans in the stands.
The MLS season just began two weeks ago.
