Morocco international Achraf Hakimi is being celebrated by men around the world as he’s pulled off one of the greatest feats in the history of divorces.
The soccer star, who plies his trade for French outfit Paris Saint-Germain, handed his ex-wife Hiba Abouk a huge L by surrendering nothing in the way of cash or assets amid the split. Hiba was seeking half of the player’s fortunes as part of their divorce settlement but has since learned that half of nothing is nothing.
According to Spanish publication Marca, while Hakimi is said to be worth $17 million and makes close to $1 million a month playing for PSG, he has nothing to his name as everything he owns is in his mother’s name. It’s also reported that the lion’s share of his weekly wage goes straight to mama Hakimi.
The Morrocan has no cars, property, or even clothes in his name as he has his mom get him everything he wants.
Hakimi and Abouk met in 2018, when he was playing for German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund. They tied the knot in 2020 and have two children together.
The right-back is facing preliminary rape charges after being accused of same by a woman in February. The alleged victim said she only wanted to make a statement and wasn’t interested in filing an official complaint but police have opened an investigation anyway.

Abouk spoke on the matter last month and said she would always side with the alleged victim yet revealed that she made the decision to split from the player prior to the indictment.
