Gambling continues to get bigger and bigger every single year as the stigma around it becomes more comfortable to professional sports league. One guy by the name of Matthew Benham was way ahead of the game.
In 1989, Benham graduated with a degree in physics from Oxxford University. He ran a few bank in the states but decided by 2001, he needed a change. He joined the sports gambling company ‘Premier Bet’, where he met legendary sports gambler Tony Bloom.
On Twitter, Joe Pompliano explains how Benham built an empire off of a $700,000 loan that he eventually turned into $300,000 from purchasing his favorite soccer team.
