Sha’Carri Richardson, the world’s fastest woman, finished fourth in the 100m at The Prefontaine Classic, with a time of 10.80 seconds.
Unlike in the past where she would’ve exploded or turned down interviews, the ever-glowing Richardson was all smiles after the race.
Two-time 200m world champion Jackson beat Marie-Josee Ta Lou with Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah edging out Richardson for third.
On this day, Richardson decided to show the world her natural hair. She famously wore different color wigs before her races, but we are now experiencing a new Sha’Carri.
There was one tense moment as she made her way off the track because fans could be heard calling her name for either a picture or autographs. Richardson looked up to the crowd and made sure they knew to state her name the correct way.

The 23-year-old won the 100m title at the World Championship in Budapest last month by clocking a personal best of 10.65s. This came after she made the final on time.
Richardson has made a strong comeback in the national championship after a series of ups and downs in her personal and professional life.
Fans cannot wait to see what she has in store for the Olympics.
