Irish Olympian Rhys McClenaghan is going insanely viral over his demonstration of the apparent “anti-sex” beds at the Paris Olympics.
The Irish gymnast put out this public service announcement that the beds in the Olympic Village can definitely tolerate strenuous activities.
Rhys McClenaghan took to his Instagram this week and proved this notion, saying, “I’m at the Paris Olympic Games, and they, once again, have these cardboard ‘anti-sex’ beds,” Rhys McClenaghan said.
“When I tested them last time, they withstood my testing. Maybe I wasn’t rigorous enough, though,” he added.
Rhys McClenaghan then proceeded to jump on the cardboard ‘anti-sex’ bed,” somersault, do jumping handstands on the bed, which seemed to withstand the impact.
“It passed the test,” he said when he was finished. “It’s fake news!”

Years ago, at the Tokyo Olympics, McClenaghan shot down the viral anti-sex rumor that the beds were made out of cardboard to discourage intimacy.
The official Olympics Twitter account even responded to McClenaghan and thanked him for the debunking.
Judging by these videos, it appears that world-class athletes are free to have as much sexual activity as they want on these beds.
When it comes to those activities, event organizers made sure to promote safe sex, and competitors in Paris have received condoms in their gift bags.
Official Olympics Account Explained The Apparent ‘Anti-Sex’ Beds
Irish Olympian Rhys McClenaghan has done his part to ensure fans that the beds given to them during the Paris Olympics are not anti-sex.
Furthermore, a TikTok posted by the official Olympics account earlier this month explained that the beds are “sustainable” and the materials are “100% made in France.”
The beds themselves “consist of three modules” that allow athletes to choose the mattress’s firmness. The frames can extend based on a person’s size. The beds will then be “fully recycled after the Games.”
