Team USA sprinter Kendall Ellis landed a funny sponsorship deal ahead of her attempt to qualify for the women’s 400m final this week, having previously gotten inconvenienced at an unwanted location.
The two-time Olympic medalist was keen on earning her first individual piece of hardware in the 400m after winning gold in the 4x400m relay and bronze in the 4×400 mixed relay at the Tokyo Olympics.
She announced what must feel like a fitting endorsement ahead of the semis, revealing a partnership with toilet paper brand Charmin. This comes after the track star got stuck in a porta potty during the trials leading up to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
Kendall Ellis Is Looking To Stay Clean With Charmin
Ever the forward thinkers, Charmin is set to capitalize on Ellis’ gaffe as they have opted to sign the Florida native to a deal. They’ve even devised a hilarious slogan: “From backside to trackside.”
“Gearing up for a smooth performance, thanks to @charmin Ultra Soft Smooth Tear.” Ellis wrote as the caption to her first ad for her new partners.

Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Kendall Ellis is a three-time NCAA champion sprinter, 14-time NCAA Division I All-American, and seven-time PAC-12 champion. She was thought to be a favorite for the gold medal in Paris, France, but she failed to secure a spot in the final.
She will have to watch on as compatriot Alexis Holmes runs for gold in Friday’s final after falling short with a 50.40-second finish.
