Tyrese Haliburton, star player for the Indiana Pacers in the NBA, was selected for the Team USA roster to represent his country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, he didn’t get enough opportunity to play in the games as he was benched for most of them. Despite not playing much for the American men’s basketball team, the 24-year-old star, who recently trolled himself, enjoyed his journey to Paris with his gorgeous girlfriend, Jade Jones.
On August 11th, Haliburton made a hilarious joke about his role behind the success of Team USA in his latest post on X (formerly known as Twitter). He wrote, “When you ain’t do nun on the group project and still get an A.”
Even though Haliburton was on the bench for most of the games, his girlfriend is still celebrating his success. After the gold medal game against France, his girlfriend posted several photos of him holding his medal and celebrating on her Instagram account.
“From dreams to reality!! you did it, my GOLD medalist! I am so beyond proud of you!!! We’re just getting started!!” Jones wrote in her Instagram post.
