Tyrese Haliburton, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Edwards have teamed up for the first time to represent Team USA in the Paris Olympics. The trio has already demonstrated their combined efforts to be a gold contender by winning their first two Olympic games against Serbia and South Sudan. With some free time before their next showdown, Haliburton and Edwards took the opportunity to focus on another game while playfully teasing Durant.
Haliburton and Edwards had the chance to test out one of the most-anticipated video games, Call of Duty. While Coach K sees Durant as the best player on Team USA, he didn’t fare as well in the video game, according to Haliburton. During their gaming session, Edwards seized the chance to poke fun at Durant.
“1st on #blackops6,” Edwards wrote in his Instagram story.
Not one to stay silent, Durant responded with his own jab at Haliburton in an Instagram story.
“Sliding on my opp @tyresehaliburton in #blackops6 @callofduty,” Durant captioned his post.
Kevin Durant Focuses on Winning, Not Expectations
Team USA is highly favored to win gold this year due to its star-studded roster and dominant performance so far. Unfortunately, Kevin Durant could not participate in their exhibition games due to a calf injury but made a great comeback in their Paris Olympics games.

Following the win over South Sudan, the Phoenix Suns star shared their main focus for the game.
“We’re not worried about expectations. We’re just trying to win and play a good brand of basketball. I think we did that tonight. For the majority of the game, we played well,” Durant said.
Durant’s team will face off against Puerto Rico on Saturday.
