This year’s Team USA roster makes the long-awaited dream of NBA fans come true by featuring both LeBron James and Stephen Curry together in the Paris Olympics 2024. From their arrival in training camp to the exhibition games, the NBA legends also enjoy their moments together. For Curry, it’s the same experience he imagined before this team-up.
“Playing with LeBron is exactly how I imagined it. He understands the game at such a high level. He’s an all-time great. You get guys that know how to play on the court; usually good things happen,” Curry was quoted as saying to FIBA.
Curry and James proved their dominance on the basketball court in the NBA as opponents, winning four titles each. But this time, they are vying to set glory for the USA as a combined force.
“He’s in his 22nd year, I’m in my 16th year, and we still have the juice left to still compete. I know we both wanted this experience, and this is a big part of representing the USA with this specific team just because we’ve never played together and we want to show the world we can win at the highest level,” Curry added.
Team USA won all their exhibition games in the Olympics. They will kick off the Paris Olympics with a showdown against Team Serbia on July 28.

The Golden State Warriors star opened up on his first Olympic appearance and teaming up with NBA stars during the USA’s Olympic Media Day.
“The arc from the U19 World Cup in 2007, then the two World Cups in 2010 and 2014, and today, this is my first time playing in the Olympics; I’m blessed. Playing with those guys, they are the top talent in the NBA,” he said.
Curry’s long-headed dream is just on the way to being in daylight, as Team USA is highly favored to bring gold home this year.
