As long as Simone Biles has been a gymnastics star, millions of people have had no clue that she has an identical sister.
Adria Biles said she’s often mistaken for her sister when in public because they look so much alike.
Biles is set to take home gold for Team USA at the Paris Olympics, and it goes without saying she is heavily supported by all her family besides just her husband, Jonathan Owens.
The gymnast is incredibly close with her little sister Adria, who is frequently mistaken for her twin.
That is happening a lot during the Paris Olympics, as many people cannot believe just how much Adria Biles looks like a taller version of Simone Biles.

Adria said they look similar, with some believing the two are twins as she told ESPN that people asked for pictures and autographs from fans who think they’re meeting Simone Biles.
“Even in Brazil, people came up to me every day thinking I was her,” Adria wrote on ESPN. “They’d ask for autographs and take pictures. And many times they didn’t speak English so I couldn’t explain that I wasn’t her. They’d just say, ‘Simone! Simone!’ and finally, I decided it was easier to just let them take a picture.”
“We do look alike, I’ll give them that,” Adria wrote. “But I’m about 5-foot-2. Simone is 4-foot-8. I’m a good head taller than her. When we are side by side, people can definitely tell us apart.”
Adria Biles also has a background in gymnastics, but she stepped away from it in 2016, just as Simone Biles began to take off at the Olympics in Rio.
Simone won four gold medals and one bronze at the 2016 Summer Games.
According to MyMeetScores.com, Adria’s biggest moment came at Level 9 of gymnastics in 2015. Junior Olympics levels range from 1 to 10 before upgrading to elite status.
Once you reach elite status, you can go ahead and compete at the Olympic trials and other professional tournaments.
Simone Biles Shows Up To Paris Olympics With An Insane Amount of Medals
Simone made her way to the Paris Games with a ton of medals from two Olympics. She debuted at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where she starred for Team USA and promptly won four gold and one bronze medal.
She returned for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics but was forced to withdraw from the finals due to mental health and getting a case of the twisties. She was still able to take home one silver and one bronze at the Summer Games.
The four-time gold medalist is back for her third set of Olympic Games as she became the oldest American woman to make an Olympic gymnastics team since the 1950s.
She’s considered a favorite to win even more hardware at the Summer Games.
