During France’s group-stage game against Brazil, Minnesota Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert experienced a tough moment when he was dunked by Brazil forward Joao Cardoso. Despite Gobert’s effort, he couldn’t stop the Brazilian from completing the dunk, and he ended up on the floor afterward.
Soon after the game, Shaq posted a meme on his Instagram story to troll the Frenchman. The meme suggested that Gobert would be working as a Walmart cashier if he was not a seven-footer.

Despite Rudy Gobert’s tough moment, Team France achieved a positive outcome in their Group B men’s basketball game at the Paris Olympics on Saturday. France triumphed over Brazil with a 78-66 victory, largely due to the outstanding performance of their debutant, Victor Wembanyama, who scored 19 points.
The San Antonio Spurs star also made a significant impact by contributing nine rebounds, four steals, three blocks, and two assists. His impressive debut left many astonished at his immediate effectiveness for Team France.
Nicolas Batum also played a crucial role, particularly in the second half, when he scored 14 points. Batum finished the game with 19 points, helping to lead France to victory. Rudy Gobert contributed seven points and three rebounds in the win.
