Sha’Carri Richardson went from America’s darling and next great superstar in track & field to a work-from-home athlete who rarely shows that she still has it on the track.
The 2022 World Athletics Championships saw several athletes taste success, however, Richardson failed to qualify for the Championships and lost her plot in the qualifiers.
During the qualifications of the Track and Field World Championships, Richardson failed to qualify for both the 100 and 200-meter events. She bowed out of the preliminary heats of the 100-meter and decided not to speak to the reporters. After that, she finished fifth in the 200-meter semi-finals. She has not been seen on the track since.
On Instagram, she posted a glam shot and video with the track in the background. It prompted one troll to call her out.
“You do everything but run fast when it time too.”
In response, Richardson made it clear that she has enough money to provide for anybody in her family.

“But any time my family need anything or want it, I can provide, can you say the same.”
Richardson missed the Olympics last summer because of a positive test for marijuana and has raced only sparingly in the past year.
We can only hope she can get back that tremendous flare she once had.
