McKayla Maroney might’ve stole the whole show at the Grammys if it wasn’t for Beyonce.
The 27-year-old 2012 gold medal winning gymnast was in attendance at the Grammys and turned heads as she showed off her bright red dress.
“Had fun at Grammys tonight!,” McKayla Maroney wrote. “My Glowy lip gloss by @miage_skincare was in every Grammy gift bag, so Taylor Swift might be using my lip gloss later tn just saying….. I HOPE IT BLESSES HER. Hahah, also this dress weighed 60 pounds, and was a beautiful nightmare to walk a few miles in. I got a great arm workout holding it off the floor! People were stopping me on the street to take pictures of IT!!!! Not me. (This probably won’t be the last of the pictures I post) Have a beautiful night xoxo.”
McKayla Maroney etched her name in Olympic history, winning multiple medals at the 2012 London Olympics. She was a member of the American gymnastics team, dubbed the ‘Fierce Five’, and went on to win a silver medal in the individual vault event also.
Even though she left the arena at 19, Maroney made a fabulous amount of money from her career.
